How does it work?

Pit Stop addresses body odour in several ways. It adjusts the PH level of the skin’s surface, making it unsuitable for bacteria to multiply.   The blend of essential oils are naturally anti-bacterial and anti-microbial preventing the survival of bad odour producing bacteria. The base oils of organic shea butter and coconut oil add moisturising qualities for your under-arms and Calendula extract is known for its gentle skin-soothing properties. Our oil to powder formula assists absorb perspiration.

The UNSCENTED variety is popular with men and women who don’t wish to use a scented deodorant.  Unscented Pit Stop doesn’t have the extra powerful added antibacterial/anti-fungal qualities that the Original version offers via essential oils but it is still an effective alkaline deodorant. Pit Stop Unscented addresses body odour using the antimicrobial qualities of organic shea and coconut oils combined with an increased PH level to prevent bacteria multiplying on the skin. It contains the same moisturising qualities for your under-arms and Calendula extract known for its gentle skin-soothing properties. Same oil to powder formula assists absorb perspiration.

Pit Stop is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant (an antiperspirant prevents sweating), so you will still sweat but smell good naturally and stay that way all day.

Instructions: Apply a pea-sized amount of  Pit Stop deodorant either straight after showering (or in an emergency, after sweating, and it will neutralize the bad odour).  Best of all – Pit Stop lasts all day and you haven’t put crazy chemicals into your body for the privilege of smelling good!

TIPS for using a Bi-Carb based deodorant:
Ideally, apply and wear your deodorant during the day. After showering with a gentle soap in the evening, give your under-arms a break at night, to re-adjust their natural pH, then go again with a fresh application of Pit Stop the next morning!

Wash clothes regularly in warm wash 35-40 degree water and you should have no problem with your deodorant marking your clothes, the oils and powders are soluble in warm water.
